Dale Holmes took his first shot at a Super D race and surprised everybody with an outstanding win ahead of Mongoose rider and former World Champion Eric Carter. Thanks to Joe Lawill for taking this sequence of Dale.

Unfortunately, in the same class, recently added KHS Factory Racer Logan Binggeli was taken out in the Semi Final with what seemed to be an intentional T-Bone. This slammed Binggeli to the ground breaking his nose and giving him a small fracture in his left Metacarpal Pinky Bone. Logan's prognosis is pretty good, an approximately 3 to 4 week recovery, and knowing how motivated Logan is, we would estimate 2 weeks with some laser treatments and a good orthopedic brace.

Sunday morning yielded a very sloppy Fontana Downhill track. Conditions like those on the East Coast, or Europe, for that matter. Melissa Bul won the Women's Pro DH by 5 seconds, and KHS had rider in the Top-5 or Top-10 in 3 other classes. Team Manager Quinton Spaulding 9th in Men's Pro, Chuck V. 3rd in Vet Pro and Craig Harvey 4th in Semi-Pro. Way to go KHS!

KHS Factory Racer Caroline Buchanan wins the 2008 Australian National 4-Cross and Under -19 Downhill Championships

A big congratulations to Aussie teen phenom Caroline Buchanan, who won the Australian National Champion Elite Women's 4x title, making her the 4x National Champion 3 years in a row, and also won the Australian National Champion Under 19's in Downhill (2nd year in a row). With these victories Caroline gets to wear the Australian colors on her jersey when competing in those events.

Her time in the downhill would have given her 3rd on the elite women's podium, behind Tracy Mosley (Great Britian) and Tracy Hannah (Australia, current World #3).
